Sunflowers for Sallie is proud to announce the fifth annual Baskets of Hope event to help strengthen our community with baskets of nourishment, hope, and love during the holiday season! Each Basket of Hope is filled with all the ingredients needed for a complete Thanksgiving dinner, beginning with a frozen turkey, and ending with a fresh pumpkin pie so families can enjoy a complete traditional meal.

Please join us in feeding local families experiencing food insecurities, our goal this year is to make 450 food baskets on Saturday November 22, 2025 at 10:00am. Ruth Parker Eason School, located at 648 Old Mill Rd., Millersville, MD 21108. Can we count on you? Thanks to you, many hungry members of our community have had the chance to relish a bountiful table laden with magnificent Thanksgiving food, and your help and support have ensured that they have not only meals to warm their bellies but treasured memories that warm their hearts long after the holiday season has ended.

This year Sunflowers for Sallie set lofty goals, and we are thrilled to share we will host our second annual Christmas Baskets of Hope event, a truly heartwarming experience to help those in need. We are joining forces with five Baltimore County Schools, Lansdowne Elementary, Lansdowne Middle, Lansdowne High, Halethorpe Elementary, and Baltimore Highlands Elementary. This extraordinary event will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, 9 AM at Lansdowne Elementary School.
