“Sunflowers For Sallie was amazing to work with over the Thanksgiving holiday, with their support we blessed multiple families at our school Lansdowne Middle. We had 5 families displaced due to an apartment fire having Sunflowers For Sallies donate full Thanksgiving dinners as well as a gift card to our local grocery store helped the families feel like they were still having a holiday. One family said “This tragedy has also been a blessing, she never realized how much our community would rally together to help those in need so fast.” I was honored when Rita asked if I could help prepare and deliver the food baskets to those in need. Seeing the families faces light up with each delivery made my day. I can’t wait to participate again this year.”
