Dear family and friends,

With grateful hearts, Sunflowers for Sallie, marks six years of growing kindness, compassion, and support for families in need. What began as a simple act of love has blossomed into a community rooted in care and connection. As spring surrounds, us with renewal, hope, and new beginnings, we feel especially inspired to begin planning what we hope will be our most meaningful event yet.

This year, for our sixth annual Baskets of Hope, we are setting our biggest goal: to assemble and deliver 500 baskets to families in need this Thanksgiving season. Each basket is more than a meal—it is a reminder that someone cares, a symbol of hope, and an opportunity for families to gather, share, and create cherished memories together.

We serve families from all walks of life—parents working tirelessly to provide for their children, individuals facing illness or unexpected hardship, and seniors who often must make difficult choices between necessities. While their circumstances may differ, their needs are deeply human: to feel seen, supported, and remembered, especially during the holiday season.
